On Friday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted eight Palestinians and confiscated four cars in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

The Qalandia Media Center said undercover soldiers driving a civilian car ambushed and kidnapped a young man, Mahmoud As’as Shu’ani, from the Qalandia refugee camp north of Jerusalem while working in a gas station.

The undercover soldiers waited for the young man to approach their car to fill its gas tank and immediately jumped at him, kidnapped him after forcing him into their vehicle and sped away.

Furthermore, the army confiscated the car of former political prisoner Mahdi Siyaj after stopping him at the Qalandia Terminal.

Also, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Abu Khadija, a soccer player in Jabal Al-Mokabber town in Jerusalem, confiscated two cars, one owned by a former political prisoner.

The Palestinian athlete was abducted just hours after his club won a soccer tournament in the West Bank.

In addition, the soldiers confiscated a car owned by the mother of a former political prisoner, Abada Nidal Dandees, 27, in the Wad Qaddoum neighborhood in Silwan town, in Jerusalem. Abada was a political prisoner released in 2020 after serving a prison sentence of fifty months.

In Silwad town, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, the soldiers stormed and ransacked a few homes and abducted three young men, Yousef Hamed, Yanal Haitham Hamed, and Hasan Natour.

In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Tammoun town, south of the city, searched homes, and abducted Faeq Ahmad Bani Odah, 27, and Shahin Jalal Bisharat, 26.

In Huwwara town, south of Nablus, the Palestinians sounded alarm sirens after noticing a group of fanatic illegal Israeli colonizers infiltrating it, just days torching hundreds of Palestinian homes and cars, setting most of the village on fire, causing damage estimated at 18 Million Shekels (About $5 Million).

In the northern West Bank, many army vehicles invaded Qalqilia, searched homes, and abducted Abdullah Abdul-Rahman Hammad, 21.

The invasion led to protests before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, resulting in a fire in a shop.

Furthermore, Palestinian fighters exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers on the Mabo Dotan and the Dotan military roadblocks southwest of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, while many army jeeps also invaded Rommana village, west of the city.

It is worth mentioning that, in January of this year, the soldiers abducted 514 Palestinians, including children and siblings, in dozens of invasions across the occupied West Bank, including the occupied capital, Jerusalem.
